Annual Program

The annual training program here at BYFL is the tool that guides football training over a year. It is based on the concept of periodization, which divides the annual plan into training phases, and the principles of football training. An annual training program is necessary to maximize performance of the child.

The main objective of the Annual program training is to reach a high level of performance within a given time, there by maximising his or her efforts in relation to their performance. We run this program on weekends through the year. This program is perfect for players eagerly wanting to improve their skills and understanding of the game.

Kidothon (3 to 5.5 Yrs)

Is a one of a kind toddler’s sports program involving multi sporting activities (Football, Cricket, Basketball & Athletics) that focus mainly on agility and skill development drills, breathing and visualization exercise with nutritional advice and K- Yoga.

The concept of Hand – Eye coordination that improves reflexes and agility is also introduced through this program. The above activities help the child in building self-confidence and develop a sense of team spirit.

Kidothon Session: Each session is for One Hour duration. Session starts off with a warm up exercise session, skill session, game session and we end with the K- Yoga(Breathing, Visualization and Imagining exercise)

Focus on structured program in a fun and enjoyable environment. Eye and hand coordination, kicking/ striking the ball, catching the ball, controlling the ball, passing the ball, running, agility, jumping, hopping, colour identification, balancing. In this process they build self-confidence, listening attentively, concentration, team work, patience and determination.

Program Structure
Bangalore Youth Football League offers a wide range of unique programs designed for talented and dedicated players to further their footballing development in a 360 degree holistic approach. For players ready to get serious about their sport, BYFL offers a rigorous, challenging opportunity to play with the best.

Dribbling

Here each player will be able to adapt skills learnt at first and second stage into movement patterns that deceive opposition defenders by learning trickery and skills which are effective in both attack and defence. Each player will be involved in exercises and games that encourage game winning individual moves that causes players to play without fear and attack space with speed.

Ball Control

Exercises involving each player working alone with a ball. High repetitions using both feet for ball mastery. Each player will be able to manipulate the ball to perform specific turns and moves to change direction and beat players to improve their overall control with the ball.

Composure

The stage of development which ties in with Ball Manipulation, allows players to be able to put into practice their ball skills in precise movements. Each player will learn how to move effectively on and off the ball, develop passing and receiving ability which will greater enhance their composure on the ball.

Speed

The next stage in development, speed of movement, speed of thought, increasing reaction time which is a key attribute of the greats. Each player will be involved in exercises and games that are designed to improve acceleration, running with and without the ball and changes of pace.
